- Federal Skilled Workers Programme (FSWP)
- Federal Skilled Trades Programme (FSTP)
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
FSWP
The FSWP is a rational immigration programme by the Canadian government, with an objective to fill up the vacancy in the key sectors of India. Under the specific plan, the applicants are asked to move as per specific demand.
They will have to meet specific requirements in order to get legitimized for movement.
- It is mandatory to meet with one-plus year of continuous work experience with specific demand met under a list of the 347 eligible occupations as discussed in the Skilled Occupation List (SOL). They must have the experience in the last 10 years, immediately preceding the date of application.
- The applicants must be in the skill category of 0, An or B. In the 0 categories, the managerial occupation will be considered, whereas, in the A skill category, professionals will find a place. But, in the B category, technical occupations and specific trades will be duly considered.
- In case of the Express Entry Programme, the applicants will have to score the minimum points as per the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).
- It is compulsory to go ahead with language proficiency test. In order to meet this objective, the applicants will have to take the IELTS and the TOEFL test, applicable only for those applicants for whom English is the second language.
- The candidates will have to undergo security background and medical examination as well.
FSTP
Different trades are in demand in the country, and if you are submitting an application for them, in that case, it is most likely that you can easily get through. The National Occupation List (NOC), the segment dealing with a probable demand of different categories of trade, will help you find out the relevant job.
To meet with FSTP, you need to meet the following requirements:
- You have planned to stay outside Quebec.
- You have met the minimum language proficiency requirement in the English and the French languages.
- You have at least two years of experience in the trade, immediately, preceding the date of the application.
- You have a full-time employment offer, or at least, you have been bound by a contract of 1 year.
CEC
Students can use the Express Entry as well to move to the Maple Leaf Country. After the completion of their educational term, the foreign students in the overseas hotspot can live there in permanently with the CEC.
To satisfy the CEC, the applicants:
- Must be engaged in a job for a term of one year.
- He must have applied within the 3 years of time after obtaining the CCE visa.
- He must have legal status while working or studying in the overseas hotspot.
- He must meet with the bare minimum requirements in English and French.
